bug on plx version of the driver?

It's a bug, but not in Host AP driver. Those messages are from generic
Linux wireless extension implementation and those ioctl() calls never
even reached Host AP driver.

It looks like the version of wavemon that you are using passed invalid
data in Linux wireless extensions ioctl().
