Netgear PCI MA311 Problems

If you can do a ifconfig wlan0 successfully,
this means, there is already a driver loaded ??

for me it looks like, you are using the wlan-ng driver for your
client-access.

You have to unload it first.

do a ifconfig wlan0 down
rmmod prism2_pci
rmmod p80211

then you can modprobe hostap_pci, and it should work..

If not... hmm no other ideas.... I have a MA311 and it works fine....
with hostap_pci
