Netgear MA401 in AP mode and Sony Clie connection hangs

My last post tonight, I promise...

I wanted to mention I am using kernel pcmcia.

Also, I tried disabling hostapd and just letting hostap_cs manage the AP
functions.  More interesting output in syslog:

This connection never yielded anything.  It was one of the intermediary
"retries" between failures.
