still compiling problems ;(

Hello,

I had same problem however my setup might be a little different. The way I
solved it was to run the full depmod command for the kernel I was planning
on using hostap with. Typically the kernel I was to be running hostap was
not the current running kernel...so to be sure I would point it to the
correct system map file via:

depmod -ae -F System.map-2.4.x 2.4.x

Where System.map-2.4.x is the System.map generated when your kernel was
built and 2.4.x is the actual kernel version matching that System.map

When doing that I never had a problem with unresolved symbols...

I don't know for sure if that is the correct way of resolving this
problem...but it has worked for me at least 10 times...;)
