hostapd startup

Hi all,

When starting hostapd and providing the wlan0 iface as an argument, I get
the following:

[root at w hostapd]# ./hostapd wlan0
ioctl(SIOCGIFINDEX): No such device
ioctl[SIOCGIFFLAGS]: No such device



2.4.20
hostap from CVS snapshot
hostap built in kernel (patch/copy drivers to 2.4.20 tree)


[root at w hostapd]# iwconfig wlan0
